Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Fowey Valley import and bottle this extra virgin olive oil from southwest Sicily. Made using Nocellara del Belice olives grown in the Belice Valley near the town of Castelvetrano. This variety is characterised by its bright green colour and its large, plump size; each olive weighs from 6 to 8 grams.
The oil has aromas of citrus fruits and pepper. It is lightly spicy, extraordinarily fruity, silky and light with notes of artichokes, green apple, tomatoes and delicate young green almond. The finish is wonderfully fresh.
Fowey Valley Cider
Fowey Valley Cider is produced in a small cidery in Golant, near the town of Fowey, Cornwall. In times gone by, the Valley was famous for its orchards, attracting boat trips in the late spring to view the spectacular apple blossom. Although many of the orchards have disappeared, the expertise and traditions of cider making are still highly prized in this part of the country.
